ya know what I was thinkin about the other day...the OUTSIDE sound of a motorcycle....Yea a car is louder inside....but when someone drives by you from like 25+ yds away poundin 150+...your not gonna be like DAAAAAMN thats loud.... Then I thought about this.....if you're outside your house late at night...you could hear a crotch rocket tearin it up from over a mile away.....hahaha, lets hear any car do that...any...at all...i dont care if its 200db...you still wont be able to hear it for probably more than mayyyyybe 1/2 mile

and THAT is why sound ordinence in cars is BS.

yeah sn, but most crotch rockets go by quickly as well, compared to a car playin loud music seems to "cruise" by.

Harleys with straight pipes are WAY louder at a distance than most/any systems around here.

absolutely... don't bump during quiet hours and your set... however, if you are like me and live right at a 30 to a 55mph zone... those harley's rip *** up to 60 and are louder than sin.... same with f'n tractor trailors when they try to slow down... loud as all hell

i was free airing my R 15 outside this weekend with my hatch up, plane as day... and a jehova's witness guy came up and said "putting a system together eh?"

i couldn't resist.. i said "nope, i'm adding a giant ash tray..."

...he handed me a flyer and walked away...

it's funny... hes got a stock infinity system and he gets a ticket. i have an 1800w system complete with subs, and i've never gotten a ticket. goes to show whos the idiot between us

Well I got two tickets in one week from the same freaking cop. The 2nd time all my windows/doors were shut and he still pulled me over and said he could hear it. I was like wtf and then he gave me this bs about how he gave me a warning but really he gave me a ticket.
