wow man 2 18's and ported in a b-body that's my inspiration right there man:bowdown: . i gotta roadmonster and still can't decide what to do for a sub setup. u think i could do like 4 15's sealed(like re se's) in our trunk(jason u can chime here too)? and def save for that 20.1 it's the truth .

PS- nuke i need your friggin alt bracket for my 92 5.7L. damm cop cars only got the large alt std. oh well guess i'll just have to do some engine work:up2somet: .

I finally figured out what the final enclosure size should be after displacement, 12.85...

Will this be big enough if I polyfill it? Im thinking it should be alright...

Ill have two 4 inch pvc pipes running through the rear deck, Im trying to figure out how long they will have to be to get around 29Hz, I was thinking 6 inch pvc but it was too expensive.. does anyone have a site where I can figure it out?

ok after making the first cuts I realized I made the sides too big and had to re adjust the angle cutting out alot of area... and the box Im building off of is too much extra work that isnt needed

this is my delimma, its only 10.78cubes, so I either have a) 2 18 sx's in a 10.78 box, polyfill the crap out of it, running about 750 each for right now and tune low or b) Have one 18 sx in a 11cube box running off of around 1500w and tuning around 29Hz..

Which one would be better/Louder?

A has more cone area and a smaller box but B has the power and a big box for the speaker...

Pros? Cons? I need answers ASAP

gonna have to agree. you could build a nice, properly sized ported box for 2 15's in that car and i'd bet you'd sound better than any of those 18 setups.

Im sure you dont want to hear this but...running that setup I would wall it. In a trunk your not gonna see any where close to its full potential.

Nah I cant sell them, so the 15's arent an option...

And yea I wanted to wall it, but I dont want anything to be too noticeable, as I I want the system discreet
