People that think they're cool just because they back something that is more obscure than mainstream. Companies get huge for a reason, and it's called doingitrite.
Often times there are better options that aren't as well known; but just because your favourite product is underground, it doesn't make it better by default.
I agree with you. Are you referring to Thai food?

That's nice. Half-wish I could work that close to home. but then I'd be 2,000 miles away from my friends... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
Don't let them stop you from taking a job out of town, most of them will probably do the same.

That's true... eventually I suppose. I have a feeling most of them will stay in MI though - probably with their co-ops. MI is where the automotive jobs are. Except Fisker in Cali //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Apparently Tesla's there too?

hahaha. I'm undecided on it. It advertised itself as the "all-season supercar" at the detroit auto show, with a picture of it on a snowy road.

Would you seriously pick a short-wheelbased, RWD, low-to-the-ground, tiny electric car whose range is affected significantly when you turn on the heater to be your "winter supercar?" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I would not.

I think it's very clever... but its practicality is questionable.

I agree.

An STi is plenty for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Gah I can't wait for winter. the whole world is your playground. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryexcited.gif.c26a15f316d23068607f36ddacd7a7ab.gif

It's a 4x4 off-road package that involves an extra leaf spring and (normally) increased ground clearance. I say normally because mine came off the lot actually lower than most 2wd. Anyways, with my street modded out truck, I still get through places a lot of big, mud tire wearing 4x4s can't. Most of it is how you drive as long as you have a true 4x4.

Ah. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Someday I will get a Subaru Baja and give it a ridiculous lift, huge mud tires, lightbars, an STi swap perhaps, maybe stacks...

Twould be fun to have a serious Subaru offroader. That is many years and dollars away though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

HAHA props to toxic hell cheesey death crunchs one of my fav joints too. I ate there so many times, my body will never forgive me. their beef packages say "Grade D but edible" on them quite literally.

Well that's reassuring //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif cheap food is cheap.
