Does anyone know who makes a HU with a hard drive built into the unit itself so you can load it up with MP3s or whatever?
Thanks
Thanks
is the new X991 out yet?Clarion makes (or made - do not know if it is still an offered feature) HUs that have (or had...) something they called "MusicCatcher" that would let you rip tracks directly from the CD that was loaded onto an internal HD though I do not know in which format.
The upcoming Kenwood KDC-X991 is supposed to have 512mb of internal storage as well.
I would wager there are others but I cannot say for certain.
No.is the new X991 out yet?
If theyre your favorites you should at least get the models right 5495 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gifAvic Z1, Eclipse AVN5295...my personal favorites.
I had one for a few days. I didn't like it. Being JVC I didn't expect much, and my expectations weren't even met //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifJVC has a new unit on the market that is a 3.5 inch screen with nav and a 40 gig hard drive. That might be up your ally. Its also single din so it fits pretty much everything
