Head Unit Won't Turn on

Today I was driving around fine with my head unit working, got home and washed the dirt off my car after off roading. Then went to go out tonight and the head unit just didn't start. Tried it again 2 hours later and it still wouldn't turn on at all. I checked the fuse and it is fine. I have a after market tachometer in my car which is hooked up to the same 12v+ power as my headunit and the tacho is still working fine so I have no idea why my headunit is not going.

All I can think of is that some sort of power surge happened from the constant wire and fired the head unit or something. I have to work in the morning, but when I get home I will take the head unit out and check if a wire came loose while my car was just sitting in my drive.

Any other suggestions?

Remember that there are 2 fuses in your vehicle that provide power to the head unit; one accessory and one constant. The constant fuse often isn't labelled as a radio fuse. Are any other accessories not working, like horn, dome lights or cig. lighter?

Yeah the constant one is also my horn, but the horn and fuse work fine. These is another fuse coming off the head unit's wires for the constant one. I am about to take the head unit out and check that.

Ok I got it fixed. When I took the faceplate off there was a reset button so I used a pin and pressed it and the head unit started going again, I feel like an idiot now lol.

I have no idea why it stopped working and I had to press the reset though.
