Head Unit Wont Open

I have a Pioneer Premier DEH-860MP and on Friday I put in a cd, then later went to go eject it, and it would not open. It makes the beep sound so its reading the button press, but still it does not open. It usually automatically flips down when I turn the car off too, its not even opening then. Its been 3 days and it hasnt fixed itself, any suggestions on what the problem could be and how to fix it? Thanks.

Try takin the harness off and pullin out the fuse for a few seconds that should reset the head unit

my 860 had that problem late in life, i always fixed it by reseting it w/ a pen and the button on the face, i know others said they cleaned one of the gear mechanisms on the face plate....never did it and not sure exactly how but a search should help
