Head Unit USB to USB HD

For those that are using hard drives with the Pioneers, how long does it take from turn on until music?
I don't need 100 GB worth of music...I was thinking something in the 80GB range.

Using an 80GB drive powered through a lighter adapter, pretty well full, with a Pioneer 6900, it takes a little over a minute (1:15?) before it starts playing. That time can be spent playing another source (radio, cd, etc.). It's relatively convenient keeping a CD of mp3s in the CD drive as an alternate source.
