head unit thoughts?

ok got a JVC right now it plays the music but has limited to no features and no sub preamp. i normally run only alpine cause i love the features and i always like havin 4volt preamps, well im shoppin for one and i found this alpine i been wantin for a month now:

even a die-hard alpine fan can appreciate this clarion, and i've never heard anything bad about clarion, i always thought they put out top quality product.

so what do yall think, go alpine and just get a line driver or knock it all out in one unit with the clarion?

only thing i wanna know about since i never owned clarion myself is how much vibration can they withstand, i go off roading alot and when i run alpines i can put my most scratched up cd in go offroadin hoppin around doggin the jeep and alpine plays it no problem. some headunits skip just cause the bass vibes so will clarion withstand massive bass vibes and play smooth without missin a beat?

and does anyone know of another headunit similar to these prices with more than 4 volts and preferably with a nicer color display screen like some of the panasonics have?

why not just add an eq processer to give you all those extra features?

i got an 11band alpine eq now but it dont help out the volts but im not even sure if takin the rca at 6volts from hu to my eq if it will still run the 6 volts back out to the amps! with my jvc and alpine eq right now i got more features than those HU but not the preamp volts plus i dont like my jvc the screen sucks, its very slow loading mp3 cds and i cant hook up ipod if i wanted to thus gettin a new one once i get the rest of my system in(since i got a player to do the job for now its last on the to get list!)
