hey guys I'm very new to this forum. Acouole minutes to be exact. Im pretty stuck in this head unit reolacement for my 2001 silverado so I'm trying to replace the single pop out head unit that's old and is giving problems it is a Panasonic VA707WEUC the truck has an equalizer unit and an amp that feeds 2 subs sk the wiring harness on this is alittle confusing im no stereo expert by any means im more into mechanical parts such as engine and transmission work. The unit had a plug in the back that I hadn't seen before so Instead of tracing that plug all the way to its other end I just want to get a head unit with the same plug if anyone could help me it would be great

Usually, you can purchase a harness specific to your Silverado? You will need to connect the wires from the new stereo harness to the vehicle-specific harness. Usually, they come with wiring instructions. Sounds like you will need a harness similar to this for your install.
Contactcrutchfield.com and tell them your problem. They usually respond very quickly and will tell you how to address your issue. If you purchase a stereo from them, they offer a "ready wire" service, where they wire the harness to your stereo prior to shipping. All you have to do is plug and play.
Let us know how you solved your problem. Good luck.
