Okay...I want a straight up answer please.

What is the sole purpose/advantage of having an aftermarket h/u over a stock one? So many people have said I need to replace my stock h/u but I never really got an actual answer why.

someone please answer this question please. Does this help my clipping problem any? will I be able to turn the gain back up some on my amp? just give me whatever info you can. thanks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It's betterer. Pre-amp outputs, cleaner signal. Crossover settings, but it really depends on the head unit and what you want to use it for. There are a lot of different ways you can go with a setup depending on the head unit being used.

okay so http://onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_20558_Pioneer_DEH-11E.aspx is what im doing with..it has the outputs and all that..I dont have the money right now to buy a real nice one so im just going to get that one for the time being..will I see an improvement in anything? and will that help me clipping problem any?/can I turn my gain back up some when I get it?
Remm u asked yesterday and someone offered you another headunit actually two, that kenwood one is better then this one i think...and if im not mistaken it had a higher voltage at the rcas. Might wanna see if you can find that one the price was pretty much the same if im not mistaken.

oh god man what happened to a 200 dollar budget?

you have enough audio cds to play(ba ba ba back to the old school) because it doesnt support any compressed format(mp3,wma,aac)

the most important rule you should follow "you get what you pay for" and dont trust online stores with specs because they lie sometimes. always check other sources.

Alright. Well that cd player I picked out is my budget. And I'm not worries about playing mp3 right now. I can deal with CDs I just want something that is temporary and that will last me. So if there is another cd player that is at the same price or lower than the one I just posted then ill go withthat one.

You could get a decent used one on here for that price...

Nothing against anybody but I don't like to buy used stuff unless I've seen it befre. Can you suggest me one? That's the same price or cheaper than the one I listed above. What type of things/#'s should I be looking for when pcking one out?

Spoken like a true noob. Well once you decide you'd like to own nicer equipment without having to sell an arm and a leg, you'll look at used stuff. You can go online and buy a POS cd player for 80 bucks or get a really nice used one on here for the same price, but since all your equipment has to be new, you'll have to settle for junk.

Better sound quality from your stock speaker or aftermarket ones, more options on what you can add on. Better internal amp than your OEM one. There are tons of reasons why you should go aftermarket.
Alpine has one you might want to look at.

That reciever is nice. But like I said I'm looking for a temporary one for now. So my budget is kind of low 70-80 dollars max. Could you suggest any others?or is the one I posted above good enough until I can get a real nice one?

I don't see any cd players on here being sold for 70-80 dollars.. If there are and I can get pics of them or whatever I don't see why not. But I don't see any ody selling a decent cd player for that price.
