Head Unit Problems, Anybody ever had this happen?

Ok, so I installed my flip out head unit in my car. I also am running 2 12" Solobaric L7 and MTX amp and 6 components. When I turn the bass up, the music cuts out for like 2 secs. I turn it down and everything is fine. Anybody ever experience this?

just sounds like your CD is skipping.

if its not your CD skipping, possibilities could be a loose ground, pinched/ripped RCA cable, loose remote wire.......

6 components? is the amp going into protect mode? I mean are you running 6 sets of components off one amp? Need more info to really diagnose this but are you sure its the deck?
