Head unit problem

So im installing some new 6"9s in the rear deck. Im using the existing wiring from the old speakers. I get one of the speakers working and try put it down into the mounting hole. Its a tight fit so I sort of have to jiggle it round a bit. Then the speaker stops and my head unit stops working. I think I may have somehow made a connection between the two speaker wires? My head unit has a feature that if it is off I can still push a button and the time will appear. This still works but my head unit doesn't power on. I tryed replacing the fuse on the back of the head unit but that didn't do anything.

Woohoo turns out it was the fuse in the fuse panel. Didn't think about it before. Got no horn till I go and get a new fuse but i'm sure i'll survive. Thanks NjccBflo, your a life saver.

Not a problem. Just remember not skip the little things.

My work here is done.... literally, I'm off at 5pm today... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smokin.gif.f1dc8d2acb1809e863ebd6a47eaa0d45.gif

P.S. - did you short something during install? If not, check all your connections again to be safe, fuses dont just blow for fun.
