Head Unit Power On By Remote

Had Some Work Done On My Service Van, Aux Batt, Power Inverter, Back Up Camera And Stere0 Amp By A Van Conversion Shop. Because I Do A Lot

Of Work In The Back Of The Truck, I Needed Them To Hook Up My Head Unit So I Could Operate It With The Supplied Wireless Remote With Out Having To Get Out Of The Vehicle, Unlock The Door, Start The Engine And Then Turn On The Stereo, Lock The Vehicle With A Spare Key And Re-enter The Vehicle To Listen To Music While Working (all The While Wasting The Gas I Need To Get Back Home From The Jobsite)

No Problem This Worked For A Couple Of Days And Then My Aux Batt Would Drain Down And I Couldn't Power Up My Tools. The Vehicle Was Subbed To An Automotive Installer Shop To Isolate The Problem And They Said All Car Stereos Can Only Be Wired To Operate Off The Ignition.

They Installed An On/off Switch On The Wall Behind My Inverter And An On/off Switch Under The Dash For My Head Unit (???). Now I Can Only Use These Switches For Power And My Head Unit Not Only Does Not Work As I Had Asked (paid) Them To Do, But Now The Clock, Eq And Other Presets Are Gone And The Radio Does't Work. Other Than "caveat Emptor", Any Suggestions?
