Head unit going on and off

The illumination & mute wires are not even needed in your case as with most, and the amp-turn-on lead should be connected to the remote leads for any amps you may have, if not tape them all up separated from each other... Hopefully your loose connections were the culprit of your issue...
If those wires happened to touch would it cause an issue like a short or something?? I bumped it all the way to work and it didnt shut off im hoping that was the issue.

I'd be willing to bet that if the remote & illumination wires touched it could short it out... I've never had it happen so I wouldn't know for sure... Always be sure your connections are all secure and either solder / shrink wrapped, butt / barrel connectors & tape, or at the very least twist & taped separately from each other & you won't have that as even a possibility at all then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

If you are using crimps make sure you use Cut/crimp only style crimpers not the multi tool version or channel locks. Or solder all connections and heat shrink and tape.

Nope wires were not the issue radion still has the same symptoms ima reground the amps and ima change the spot maybe that will help...if the amp is messing up will it cause the raido to glich aswell??
