Head Unit Crossovers

I have a Kenwood DDX 791 which I am upgrading and an Alpine PDX V-9 my installer bypassed all the crossovers on the Alpine and used the Head Units crossovers. Good idea or bad Idea? Thanks for your time.

Good idea. Only use one set of xovers, the hu's or the amp's. Just use whichever one has the most specific settings.
