Head Unit and Subs keep turning off

I just bought a new Kenwood KAC-9103D 1800 Watt amp and hooked it up last night and at first it was going good then later that night my subs would shut off for a couple seconds and come right back on... then today my head unit would turn off then come right back on... any suggestions?

My friend has a similar Kenwood HU to that, and his setup does the same thing. His does it because the **** thing gets WAY too hot. Kenwood's are pretty much shite IMO.

i had a similar problem shutting off and on when turned up , head unit needed to be grounded to the chassis not to the wire harness...new ground fixed my problem...
