I am looking to buy the new alpine Ida-X100 deck. I currently have stock cd changer mounted in my dash board, but below the existing stereo, it is all the way at the bottom of the dash. Will I beable to connect it and use it with the new alpine decks because they dont eve come with a cd player. I posted this question in the thread about the head unit but its on the ninth page and I dont think anyon will find it. :) I am new to the car stereo world and so this might be a simple/stupid question but any help would be appreciated

thanks so much!!!

I am wondering the same thing on my trunk mounted player.

I was trying to find out what brand my OEM unit is.

From what I read it was made by Clarion... but I cannot confirm.

I do have a wiring diagram for the connector...

Your options as I see them:

1-Get any multi-disc CD changer that has an FM modulater.

2-Get an Alpine multi-disc CD changer that is controllable by the HU.

The factory CD changer was set up for use with the factory radio.
