Head turning System set up Old school from 1999 Loudness that from half mile away

It's been 16 years and I'm talking about Old JL w6 subs

And a class A PPI 21400 amp.

Can Anyone feed in on the deal about them particular subs by JL during the pre 2000 Era. Seems Iike they was a one of a kind woofer that's since been long gone..But still run across then on ebay.

There used to be a single cab ranger with a fiberglass windowless camper top that would come thru bumpin .

The truck come to find out was running 3 Jl w6 subs on a PPI 21400 amp.

To this day never heard such Sq and spl combined fromm a minimal setup.

This truck You could Hear and feel the bass from a mile away and really Feel it approaching at a half mile Literally The Sq and Thump went right thru you at a half mile away if you was standing outside and it was only 3 12inch Jl w6 subs from 1999 Not the newer ones around now ... this is 16 yrs ago .

This all came from a Ranger and it was Not a cut through Build ...just Subs in a bed with a windowless camper top

Is it even remotely possible to get that type of flex and bass response like your right inside the cab But really feeling it from half mile away the same way as if you was in the vehicle.. .I don't know if Sq had a lot do with the Loudness and clarity or if it would been spl.

Either way it was one hell of a loud truck REALLY LOUD CLEAR FROM A DISTANCE.

I'd like to make the same results from a sundown build inside the trunk of my impala

the original w6 drivers were amazing drivers at the time, id love to have a few. that said, nostalgia can add a positive tinge to anything.

I'm sure some are tired of hearing about this but back in '97-'01 I had some USD horns under my dash, 10" Vifa woofs in my doors and a trio of 15W6 subs. Clarion head unit, Audiocontrol processing and Soundstream amplification. That was just how you did it back then and it was awesome.
