hdc4 15 ??? and hdc3 15 ??

hi guys,

most here know i have the hdc3 15" .

so i have 2 ?

1- whats the max rms i can feed mine ? hdc3 15"

2- was considering getting 2 hdc4 15"

can the hdc4 be daily ? it says it for competition use.

im looking to feed more power so that why im asking about the hdc4 15 as there rated at 2000rms. but sure they can take more. if so how much more ?

im going for SPL ....

My 3's are on a 3500. Roughly taking a little over 2k each without rise.

Andrew, had hdc4's and each one is on a 3500 at .5 ohm. But that guy goes through recones like no ones business. But Hes a record holder for a reason...

ok ya i was thinking that. and have read that but me being somewhat new with this high end stuff and running a lot of power just wanted to make sure.

but why do they tage it for competition ? is there a reason ?

im trying to figure out what my max would be on these subs.

have been told about 2200 to 2500 rms on the hdc3 that i have. and was wandering if i would gain anything with going with the hdc4 15".

see my plan is going with 4- 15" so i need to figure this out now before i buy another hdc3 15"

Its the subs that give up cooling for BL like the big Atomics or the judge.

Hes blown them mainly from them unloading. Go to the smd forum and look for the black nasty build log really good info on there.
