they are solid from what I have seen. I just have other speakers i would rather use.

what ever the z1 does at 1 ohm and it got nice and loud with little movement, i was gonna try d1.5 and d1 to see what i gained

well im just looking for a 18 that will get crazy loud. Something that isnt to hard to find incase I wanna buy another one on done the road. what do you guys suggest. power and space is not a problem

well u should look into the SX 18s the pair i have now is reallly retarted loud! they arent hard to find and with 2000rms ud be golden

yeah im kind of in the same predicament. i want two 18's that will get loud and i think the hdc318's will be great...i want to run a aq2200D to each one. would that be ok??

Of the two posted by the OP, I'd pick the AQ's.

Of the subs listed, that 9518 is sweet.
