HDC315 vs. HDC315-A

I am on the order form about to make my purchase and I need to know whether I should go with the aluminum coil or not.

I am going to be putting 1000wrms up to 1600-1700wrms clipped at times. I have heard that the alum. coil sounds better around 2000wrms but I dont know if that is true.

I also heard that clipped watts produce more heat the non-clipped watts.. So maybe the alum. coils' heat displacement will be better for this particular situation?

just get the reg copper coils..people use them and run over 2k to them anyhow

get the copper and a bigger amp as 1k isn't much. My coppers get up to 3k each with no problems...

I've only used copper in mine and have no prob. Atomic5k at .5 ohm.
