hdc312 on a gp3000d-pro

well audioque list useable throw 3 inches on the hdc3. Now im not sure but i would imagine thats the subs mechanical limit which would be roughly an inch an a half each way???? so the sub may do an inch each way before distortion and by the look of his vid he is past an inch!

yea, thats not even close to the mechanical limits of that sub. a 40hz punch isnt going to push it any farther than a sine wave either. if its a 40hz 0db punch it will move the same as a 40hz 0db sine wave. the 40hz punch is nothing more/less than a short sine wave. this is the same logic that goes behind people saying 15" subs are slower than 12" subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

You are not pushing that sub judging from the video no where near the limits of the suspension... The box its in do you have the specs on it?? I may have missed them.. Let me know..
I ran AQ and still do.. You will get some kinda noise out of them until the FULLY break in... I have no problems with mine at all.... No funny noise no bottoming out or any of that.... No at the beginning i did but its normal...
the box is 2.7cuft @38hz. and like i said there is no bracing. i dont even see caulk in there. the idiots who drilled holes in the back for the wire made them too big and so i used electrical tape to seal it up best i could by wrapping it around the wire so it would get snug in. and double baffle on speaker side.

ok well i got my clamp today and hooked up both the clamp and dmm. my electrical is pathetic. only drew about 20 amps at 52 volts. that means my impedance is at about 2.7ohm with rise. that also means that its only producing about 1100wrms. i still dont understand the the minimal voltage drop.. but now i CLEARLY see i need to be upgrading my electrical!!! but that shit is just awful...2.7?!?!?! wired to 1ohm!!
