straight from the + and - on AMP. and set DMM obviously by measuring the speaker terminals.. also my truck has a gauge on it that doesnt move.

i still kind of wonder why the guys at the local shop told me that i will "have no voltage drop. you are only seeing about 80 amps." then i asked how to get full potential out of the amp, and they said you are" but how can i be? if i am only seeing 80 amps.?? SHIT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!!!

no, they only did my ground (drilled through the floor straight to chassis). i installed everything. its not really rocket science though.. + and - i checked my wiring config on the sub, and the positives are together and the negatives are together, so i know its wired down to 1 ohm. what if i was accidentally sent the D4 instead of the D2.

Does it not say on the magnet if you remove the boot?

Yea, you can remove the boot to view the bare magnet. I've seen some magnets w/ stickers labeling the model of sub

i didnt read the whole thing but take out your remote gain thingy dont use that at all..

Bass on HU: 3/7

Gain on amp: 1/2 way

Bass Boost: 0

Leave the rest of the shit the way you had it or reset it correctly

Now turn your volume up it should sound good if not you have a worse probelm
