I just got mine in today and can't wait for the break in period to be over but I was wondering, does aq not send the aq decals with the sub? all the other subs I've ever bought have came with stickers but this one. I know its stupid but I'd like to put the logo on my car to replace the re logo thats on there now

ive had my 15 in a decent sized ported box and its a monster on the lows..definitely tore my car apart.

yea gtp my box is very similar to the specs of yours with the exception of the tuning. mine is tuned to 30hz so I guess I'll see how it sounds after it's broken in

make sure you break it in properly. when i had an hdc3 i had this horrible mechanical noise that soundeed like crazy port noise and some smacking on the lows. dj said it wasnt broken in properly which i dont believe because i gave it a clean 900 for pretty long. regardless i sold it to someone local and it does seem like the noise went away for the most part and has gotten lower. but thats been after like 2 months of use

clean 900watts has NOTHING to do with breaking in the spider pack. You want to avoid high power and playing very low, like around/below tuning. Otherwise part of the spider pack will take the heat and not set properly. Then you get noise and have to hope that it goes away after a longer period of time.

I've religiously done the break in procedure and have NEVER had a single issue. Last 3 sets of recones I did 12hrs of break in and then right to full tilt burps. Played music after that and they sounded great.

NO reason to tune your box to 30Hz for an HDC or DD sub...
