hdc3 copper coil suspension vs aluminum coil suspension (soft pars etc)

I'm not aware of any suspension differences, but I'd stick with copper for daily. Aluminum might be worth a few tenths for burps.

My aluminum drop in's were ~ $140 shipped.

Coppers are what, $67 plus ship? And.kangroux, you cant say theyre junk when they can handle 2.5k plus. Thats a pretty biased statement.. I was doing 45s sealed with my aq hdc3 15 alum coils off only 1600 watts. For how cheap the recone is, and how much abuse they take, id say theyre well worth the money.

you have to pm me i answer all of those where im's sometimes get lost seen it before,sorry.

the alums have a higher fs than the coppers which arent as good for daily, now with a 8 layer it lowers ur fs to bout the same as the copper but gives you more bl and thermal powerhandling...

Have SPL build you a custom recone. You will be happier in the end I'm sure.

As for AQ's alterations between the alum/copper coils...they only change the coils and has SPL said the FS will go up changing to alum over copper.

The rest of the differences won't even be noticeable by you or anyone else, the FS change is just about not detectable.
