why do you assume better sq with the diamonds? HDC's can sound very good in the right enclosure and matched to a decent front stage.

Assuming you're talking about real music since rap has no sq to speak of....

I'm very familiar w the hdc3 and **** near all reconed versions of it. I'm quite confident that the d9s have a higher sq...since that's the point. Just looking for people who have owned them so they can tell me how it might compare daily.

I have heard the D3 and D6 Diamonds they both have great SQ but I can't speak for the D9/HexPro.
