What does this mean? I would like to experience this HD radio thing. I have a Eclips 8445 that is READY. Do I need a tuner?

Yes you do. All that HD Radio-Ready means is that the unit in question is already setup to control an HD tuner and display the station/track/artist info for you.

I guess im not ready. they need to make these HU with the tuner.

They need to make the HD tuners CHEAPER! They are at like $400.
