hccas vs boston z6

175/side would work, but the Z6's love power. You would want to use at least 300w/side to start to get the full benefit form your purchase. Though, they will still sound good with 175w/side, they won't get as loud as you might want.

You might be better off with the Pro60's. Cheaper, better with the power you intend to feed them, and the sound quality ain't that far behind the Z6's.

Forum member 'donpisto' had a a set of Z6 mids and tweets(no crossovers) for $140 plus shipping. If you aren't running active, you could probably get a set of those crossovers for those for around $60, or maybe even less.

lol i actually just bought those from 'donpisto'. if i can find the crossovers i can bridge my treo amp and get 300w+ per side. w/o the cross overs i'm stuck with bi amping/wiring them. theres a set of cross overs from the boston pro60s on ebay now. would those work? if not anybody know good crossover points for the set?
