I need some suggestions on a ported enclosure for this sub. It's going in the trunk of a early 2000ish Honda Civic. We have spce to work with but I'm not that familiar with this sub's likes and dislikes. The website says .75 CUFT @ 45Hz. This sounds very small and tuned way too high to me but I wanted to get some of yous guys opinions.

In the owner's manual they change box size and tuning based on how much power you'll be throwing at it. For 800-1500 watts they recommend 1.75ft^3 tuned to 38hz, giving you a F3 of 32hz. I'd go the same size but tune a little lower, like 33-34hz so that you can hit the lower notes better.

I was kind of thinking the same. It's just a 10 and I want to do as best as possible on lower end so I thought this would help compensate for less cone area. He's going to push it to the max and probably a little futher.

Michael: on their website they suggest ported over sealed for this sub. It's going in a trunk as well so the port allowing it to be louder should help a lot.
