Having trouble

Hey I have a PIONEER XM DEH-P5500MP. For some odd reason the sound coming out of my speakers are fadding in and out. The sound wont last 30 seconds, then it cuts out for a long period of time, and do it again. I check all my connections (speakers and wiring harness) and they are all good. I had this deck when it first came out so its about 5 years old i think, so whats going on??? Thanks...
