Having problems with ebay please help

on jan 11th I purchased some infinity kappa 62.7i 2 way speakers. when i recieved the package i noticed that the seller shipped me infinity kappa 63.7i 3-way car audio speakers.

Now the 3-ways were more expensive than the 2 ways but they didnt fit my car.

so i called the seller from the number listed in the auction. he said to send them back since they didnt fit. he supplied his ups account so i didnt have to pay anything.

after about 2 weeks i still hadent heard anything from them and thier phone number is no longer answered by anyone. ive been trying to call everyday for a while.

Yesterday i filed a complaint with paypal. Today papal emailed me telling me that the refund would go through.

then about 10 minuites later i get an email from the ebay seller telling me i had won the auction.

so its like im being forced to buy the item anyway.

Can they do that?

is there a way to just get a full refund?

i really need the money now cause i lost my job last week and i only have .07 cents in my bank account.

this is my first bad experience with ebay any suggestions.

wow that sux bro and he is a pretty big seller on ebay, to get a full refund just keep going through paypal and you should be able to get a refund.

do you mean just file another complaint with paypal??

also i noticed when you go to his ebay store there is nothing listed. That along with the fact that NOBODY ever answers the phone anymore i thought maybe they went out of buisness.

you should have check trhis however it is his feedback break down, never buy from some one that has that many neg feedback each month.

x2 squeak, good point once you paid once they cannot charge you again if you have not received the item or a refund.

Yea that seller is a piece of $hit. PayPal will handle it for you. They can't make you buy anything. And no I don't believe that you can file a compaint twice for the same transaction. But I don't get it....if the dispute was decided in your favor, what's the problem????

A little advice - Paypal will do absolutley nothing for you - PERIOD.

I was scammed before and paypal could not get my money back because he had no money in his account. The only way they can give you your money back is if the seller/buyer has money in his account, if not they are like.....too bad

If the guy has no money in his paypal account they cant do anything about it, i know u arent being scammed here, but i was scammed and paypal could do nothing about it.

What you need to do is call your credit card company and have them take care of it. = Hopefully you used credit card.

Tell them all that happneed and they will refund the money

ok thanks. i also noticed that the refund from the guy is pending. does this "pending" status appear for every refund?

if the moneys not in my paypal how can the bank get it back??

im sorry i dont mean to ask stupid question but im new to this process.

it takes up to 3-7 days for the complaint to be completed and worked out. once the case is closed you will get your refund.
