I'm just going to say that these amps are worth every penny, and that sale price is amazing for the 4k2d. I love the shit out of mine, and when my review gets posted, I think we will see some different opinions...

The only opinions that you will get are from people who have never owned or used one. I've never owned one but I've repaired a couple, and in my opinion, there are much better amps out there.

I'm not looking to go back and forth with anyone here but everything you've said on this post is entirely your opinion and only one thing has been fact. And opinions are fine but so far not one persons opinion on here is based on little to no truth. So yes the parts for repair cost a little more but that's due to the parts needed to run this much power in a small case. So in other words you verify that we don't use cheap parts in the product so thanks. You say that you don't like the lay out of the board and that's fine but that has absolutely nothing to do with build quality or anything else. It's nothing more then an opinion.

And when it comes to getting warranty repair done in a timely manner that is partly Stetsoms fault do to the choice in repair facility that Stetsom has chosen. The repair facilities that we chose promised they could do warranty repair and in the end they chose to back out. So Stetsom did make a bad decision on where to have the product worked on for warranty repair. But that's just part of doing business with companies. Sometimes it works out sometimes it doesn't and in Stetsoms case it didn't and this ended up having a negative effect on Stetsom. So understandable but good to say the repair place Stetsom is using now is working out perfectly.

And end the end it's fine to have an opinion and there probably are better amps out there but they'll be hard pressed to come close to the price for power and size as Stetsom.

Yes this was a very sad thing to have happen to people from someone that used to work with the company. This person is no longer with the company so be aware that this is not the actions Stetsom takes when doing business nor was Stetsom aware of these actions. These where the actions of a single individual and it's sad to say that it had a negative effect on Stetsom but these where not the actions of Stetsom.

So I fully understand where people are coming from on this sad situation.

It's funny that you say that. So far from anyone that knows how to solder especially some engineers that work on electrical components I've heard nothing but complements on how good the soldering is since they are all done by hand. I was shown little details in the technique on soldering that I didn't even know made a different that is used on assembling Stetsom amps. But to each their own.

Stetsom is up there as one of the best amps that I've ever owned. Certain people on this thread are saying that they would never buy or own one, but a few weeks ago, when I was selling my 7kd, those same people were offering to buy it from me.
