Have you noticed the gas prices?

i work in the oilfield and my area produces most of the fuels in this region. we have an average of ~3.05/gal low grade in town right now. 6hrs away the same fuel i'm using goes for 2.80/gal. it seems i pay for the transportation of other people's fuel:(

Had to take this picture when I went to fill up my Tacoma. If you are in Houston you can find this at the cornor of W. Little York and Eldridge //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Some of those countries have viable national public transportation systems, unlike here.
On JeepForum, we have a member that lives in Oman that's a regular poster. He doesn't understand what all the fuss is about gas prices. He's paying ~$0.50 a gallon.

I might just have to move, I hear the weather's nice.

I hate when certain people complain about gas prices, the people who drive fast and complain about their gas. Of course your gonna spend a lot of money on gas when you drive harder and faster. Here's a simple concept, meaning that it should be easy to understand: the harder you push your pedal the more gas you use. I don't understand why people want an increase of the speed limit, increasing the speed limit will allow people to drive faster which will then cause an increase of demand of gas prices. Why do something that will consume more gas?? Places in europe have mega high gas prices, and they do something about it, ie public transportation, walking, smaller cars, etc. Well, at least someone's getting rich off of me.

hahaha and get ready to pay even MORE.... 10% ethonal ****s everyone in the ***... it dont help it hurts... example. 01 camry I4 i get roughly 460miles per tank 16 gallon tank, now since this new ethonal at race track shit i get now 447miles per tank. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif and i used to be 450+ even after 3 or 4 times filling it up. and i just had it tunned up.
If america had been prepared for the mandatory ethanol increase by producing more corn crops then gas would be much cheaper. Thats a very narrow sited observation.
