Have you noticed the gas prices?

blah who cares, i pay for prem and dont *****
Dont you drive a jeep or ricer car? I dont see the point unless your car has high compression. Which it doesnt. If you are having issues with running a lower grade you may want to take it to a mechanic and pay them. That was you are saving in the long run //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Man that has to be a mistake for premium gas in that pic.

Anyway I have a 14gallon tank and it cost me about 33 bucks at 2.79/gallon. It get around 280/320 to a full tank. Yes, it does **** for a 4 cylinder. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Oh well I wanted the better eng. You really do get what you pay for in my case.

Ehh, some of us aren't so easily trainable. Unless you really don't mind that chunk of your paycheck steadily disappearing...
Silly susan, dont you know that caring about our well earned money is just a waste of time. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

But on a serious not, I remember not too long where gas was 1.20 a gallon and 18 bucks would fill up a car. It was a 1988 Cutlass Calais 5-speed. It cost me usually around 18 bucks to fill up on a 12 gallon tank. I remember getting around 350/400 miles on a tank full.

So lets compare. 18 bucks, usually last me 7 days back then. So 72 bucks a month. 72 times 12 would be 864 bucks a year. This is if you would drive the given miles of this type of car and size tank.

Now the car I have new which is brand new 2006 Ford Focus St. Granted it has 2 more gallons to fill up. It cost me 33 bucks to fill up at 2.79 a gallon on 14 gallon tank and I usually get 6 days for this. I get like I said before 280/320 for a full tank. So that would be 128 bucks a month. 128 times 12 would be 1536 bucks a year for me. So in 7 years since I paid that 1.20 a gallon it is costing me 672 bucks more a year to just put gas in my car. For the budget that I am on anymore, that is a lot of money. Might not be to someone else.

Geez, I wonder what some of you with the big suv's could compare from years ago when gas was in the low ones or mid ones. That would be interesting to see how much money you could have saved, lol!

Simple math.

$1/gal = $31 to fill up.

2.75/gal = $85.25.

I want to slap cashiers that look at me funny and repeat when I say "$70" like I misspoke. Yes, thank you for reminding me, print the **** receipt.

Had to take this picture when I went to fill up my Tacoma. If you are in Houston you can find this at the cornor of W. Little York and Eldridge //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Are you kiddin me??? lol look at other countries. Some countries pay the equivalent to 9-11 dollars a gallon. Quit ur whining.

*Edit* Usually around 5 dollars a gallon in the more expensive places.

Actually I was wrong about the prices, its around 5 dollars a gallon in most other countries. But ur telling me the UK , Germany, and Hong Kong never drive??? No they have small economy cars that run 40-50 mpg. Not wiggerlicious v8 Escalades sittin on 24s.

*O/T - Kinda funny though I actually saw one of these yuppys drive through a bank window and the SUV did not have width clearance. She had these gigantic mirrors and they just complete just scraped the brick*

You want to pay little for gas? Get an efficient car. All the other countries do it.

Mercedes was actually going to release one of the cars used in the UK, its called a Smart Car. It would have had about 50mpg without any hybrid crap. The sporty model was also supercharged/turbocharged.

Of course they never could Americanize them though. The project flopped.

I'm fine with my little 4 cylinder Integra. It does not get teh BEST mileage, but 28mpg its much better than all you suckers with those V6s and V8s. They are a complete waste.

They are a complete waste.
Err...wouldn't quite go that far. Some people that have commercial vehicles actually use them for what they're capable for - but those aren't the fools with the 24s on Escalades like you mentioned.

Jim thinkin he has a big tank
That's what she told me.

back up son 43 gal> you
