as most of you know the evacuee's from the superdome were bussed over here to houston...i thought that was great...it doesnt bother me.....but anyways my brother told me at this one evacuation spot(i think a VFW hall) the people there were being demanding and after they had there meals they wouldnt throw away there garbage they expected the workers to do that...i understand there going through a hard time but have some courtesy people.....theres all kinds of things going on around as far as Aid to those from New Orleans...im donating to the relief but still has some respect...i dont know if this is going on at other spots

So true... Its pretty awful what is happening down south, but it seems like you cant loose your cool under the pressure created by the untimely handling of certain issues. Once the many people have lost their patience it just creates emotional mayhem where nothing can be accomplished. Its too bad to hear that this is happening.

i can only imagine what people are going throught that cant see or be at their home. im havin a hard time living without power and gas, it sucks but ican only imagine what people are going throught that are out of state. this is said to be the worst storm since 1906 where texas got hit by a hurricane. they made a NEW RATING for this storm...5.5 on the scale of 5.0. it is amazing what were seeing around town getting things done and all. people are doing some stupid shit though, its crazy.

Its a shame that some of the lazy worthless ungreatfull people that wont do anything for themselves make it harder on everyone else. Same as with the few thugs makeing it worse and giving everyone a bad name. These types of people are everywhere in every city in the US. Welfar and poverty have turned some of these people to act like this over time.

we have a snack cart in our lobby...i heard a women walk up and say "im from new orleans, can i have some free food."..Sure there are going to be arrogant people, but ive also seen a thousand other things that are quite the contrary.

I was amazed to hear today about people shooting at emergency helicopters when they were flying around. Thats just crazy, its like that old proverb dont bite the hand that feeds you. I dont know if the helicopters were dropping stuff off, but it pretty terrible that this kind of thing is happening. Personally Im amazed the police and other forces havent really returned fire in these situations, its probably for the best though.

Yeah, that was crazy. It didnt just get picked up and dropped off on the other side either. That sucker was a long *** ways away from where it came from.

at least they have enough "respect" to not steal sniper rifles and shoot rescue workers in helicoters as they try and rescue people. Now that is just f**ked up. I canbt believe someone would do that, I dont care how desperate/stupid you are. They need to hurry up and get the marines in there to create some serious martial law.
