Have $400 for a Headunit...

I have $400 for a headunit now after saving up, the catch is it has to be bought at Best Buy. I was wondering which one of these had the absolute best SQ that i could buy from there. I was leaning towards Alpine since ive always wanted an Alpine, but the SQ means more to me. I will only use the unit for pre outs.

1. Alpine 9853

2. Pioneer DEH-P80MP

3. Sony CDXM8810

4. Kenwood KDC-MP828

The problem is i only have $250, but i have a few gift cards that add up to 420 or so for Best buy.

you can get an eclipse 8445 for around that price brand new. there was a sale on ebay for $300 buy it now and sq would be better than other of those HUs you listed. but if anything from that choice i'd get the alpine but the glide touch sucks.

Read it he can ONLY BUY FROM BEST BUY. I am thinking he might have best buy bucks or a giftcard for there.

I do have $250 bucks on me, but the rest of it is gift cards money from best buy. The glide touch thing sucks? Isnt the Alpines low output voltage a bad thing though?

Either way, i need a HU quick, my current JVC unit keeps messing up.

People ***** about the glidetouch cause its new. I happen to enjoy it on my 55. And best buy offers a 4 year warranty with their headunits, i don't think they offer that on the ebay headunit.

dont get the sony its pretty much a pretty version of the f7715x which means its not worth near that. i'd get the alpine

the glide touch isnt bad once you get used to it

of course there is the 9851 without glidetouch

he could get one of the kenwoods that bb sells. they are pretty nice decks. good output voltage and low impedance preouts. not that pretty of decks but sound good.
