Ya I know they are BNIB, but you haven't listened to a set before? Unless doing a total SQ install, I don't think the Clarus is worth the extra cash over the Imagines, but that's just me.

I hear you, no I have not heard them, I have heard a Clarus set. The Clarus set is not Brand New, so I figure I will run them, and hopefully will not want to upgrade again for a LONG TIME. ANd if I dont like them too much, then I can always sell them. I kind of felt that the Imagines were just a temporary set for me, so when I found a good deal on the Clarus set I just picked them up to save time. My sub stage is definitely not full SQ, but should sound very good, (I Hope). So I guess I will find out if my choice was good or not :/

Don't get me wrong, there is a reason the clarus set is so much more expensive lol but without good install, as in deadening, quality source unit, etc, you know the routine, it won't bring out the potential of the Clarus set. The Imagine set is really quite a good speaker for the price, I couldn't imagine (no pun intended lol) spending any more on anything else unless doing a full on SQ install, which to me means going active. I'm confident you'll enjoy the Clarus set, at least until you want to go active lol

Yea, I hear you there, my doors are almost done, been really been putting time on them. Lol. My amp is great, and I am looking to get an Alpine 9887 (Active, it is, Lol.). Then when I decide to go active I will purchase another BTS for my tweets and call it quits.
