has anyone tried this...

I placed 1" memory foam in mine to see if it would eliminate some of the "boomyness" - It did. I got quite a bit of deadener left....I might try it. Orrrrrrrrrrrr, you try it and tell us.

i was tould at the school i went to for mobile electroniccs. that there is no real perpouse for deadining the inside of a box, just make sure it has round corners cause sound resonate's in 90 degree angles... true?

yeah i heard somin about the 90 degree thing...well..my box resonates either way..its plywood...our ace store doesnt sell any other kind...well they do...but nothing is more than 1/2 inch thick.

i've actually put some deadener on the back of my enclosure. its a fiberglass mold that was molded to the back wall of my truck (ram 1500 reg cab). at first, it would squeek and rattle and all but then i deadened the wall and the back of the mold and its perfect now. sounds better too
