a place around here sells them and they claim that harts square 12..which was built to compete with the L7 will kill the L7 in every way..they claim..i think they are shit....way cheep...never heard there mids..they also make amps

hart audio used to be a pretty decent brand. a shop called street digital in beaver, ohio sold them, and i saw a few pairs back when i first got into car audio in 98 that impressed me. They had a special pre-fab box and sub combo, if i'm not mistaken called, the "hart attack" that was pretty loud.

Now they're owned by somebody else, and i'm not too sure about the quality of the new products. If they've resorted to making rip-offs of the L7, that should tell you something about them.....

Hart has been around for quite a while, they made alot of pro grade equipment.

Their square subs handle about 400wrms and require a small box. So you do the math, small box + sub that will handle about 400wrms = a sub that needs to be efficent.

The guys at Razorback Car Audio loaded a pair into a ported box about 4cubes total and they hit harder than the solobaric's. If you are on a budget and still want to hit hard, try a pair in a ported box. I never got the chance to hear how they sounded in a small sealed box though.
