Hard to believe it's been a year already....VT today w/ pics

I went to the candlelight ceremony tonight and the art display beforehand. Hard to believe it's been a year already....still remember like it was yesterday. Powerful stuff. Lots of pics:

Various signs from around the area in the days following 4/16/07

Wood carving dedicated to the professor who blocked the doorway and was killed so the students could jump out the window

Seat cushion and program from the VT/Yankees baseball game this spring

A handkerchief drawn for each of those killed by a prison inmate

Hundreds of paper cranes to construct the VT ribbon logo made by the students at Elon University (I think)

Shirt sent to VT by Texas University

Eggs painted by a local resident/alumni, one for each student. Missing ones were given to the families.

Life preserver signed and sent by the coast guard

i only wish that mother ****er could have suffered a far worse death. i cant believe someone would just walk into a school full of ppl that are in the process of building their lives and start killing them. its not fair at all.
