Hard head unit decision

Ok think i have it narrowed down to 2 head units.

This one is from crutchfield, is cheaper, and has a 7 band eq

This one has a usb input, a 64 color display, and a G-anylyzer

Has anyone had expierence with both of these?

How important is a 7 band eq vs a 3 band eq?

I think alot of people on her will tell you that the pioneer is a very nice head unit. I am a Kenwood excelon fan. If your are looking for a Kenwood start with the excelon line. They have awesome sound quality and loaded with features. You won't be dissapointed. As you can see by the ratings of Crutchfield on that pioneer, I doubt if you will be dissapointed with that head unit either. X2 on the excelon line. you can get the 790 for $200 on ebay and its got plenty of features

the ****s the G Analyzer, so when goin down a highway offramp way faster then you should it shows you how many G's your pullin or somethin

I've never even bothered to calibrate mine.

Never use it.

I might as well get what i want the first time (color display and usb input) rather than have to upgrade soon.

Has anybody used the excelon X890?

I read the reviews for it at Crutchfield and one said the browsing for songs on it horrible.

you know, unless your upgrading from an 80 dollar aftermarket hu, your better off with something in the mid 100's right about now, unless you don't wanna save up for a lcd flip out or something of that nature, otherwise, go you!

Are the controls different on the x590 and x890 because all the reviews on the x590 were all positive and the x890 had some negative things about the browsing for songs on the x890?

Good HU, I only got it mostly for it's USB capabilities and it's awesome at that.
