no...not sexy at all. i started of w/ a 13gig, then got (for free) a 20gig. and now got (for free) another 20gig. whats raid, and sata, and all that other junk?

you're going to need an ATA100/133 controller card. I don't know how much they run now, I recently got one for $20... really cheap one, but it does the job. Since you've used up all your IDE slots, this is going to be your only option.

you want 3 hd? for 2, adding a second one......all you should have to do it put the first one into the board, then the second on the cable to HD 2 then the last one to HD one, the other ide cable should go from the board to the cd rom, then the other is floppy, then set the jumpers on the HD's

That would be the best overall route if you plan on keeping the computer for a while, but he probably doesn't want to move all of his data to another drive.
