SO Jmac and Steve, do you know a lot of french? I don't know a whole lot about canada and i was told there are some towns and cities that don't speak much english in canada. Me = knows no french

I knew some French ... then I graduated ...
Most French-speaking Canadians are in Quebec ... outside of Quebec, it's pretty much all english ...

x2 - majority in Quebec, lots of people in the east (Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick) speak French ... out here (SK, AB, BC) - it's tough to find someone that speaks fluent French, excluding judges, etc.

I know basic French, and that's all too much.

And speaking of the government trying to control everything. I dont know how old the rule is but, It's illegal to even purchase Cuban Cigars, no matter where you are, I found that out right before I went to Costa Rica last year.
