last year for diwali we went through the phone book and called random people all night telling them we were with capital one and that their payments were late and tried to pressure them to make payments by phone. It was totally sweet.

Diwali is basically the Hindu equivalent to Christmas.. It's supposed to celebrate God's victory over Evil or light over dark.. It's really the celebration of light so they light dias (like a candle) and do alot of fireworks. They also do something call the pudja where they buy a piece of gold and bless it sort of a way to symbolize their gods... It's about 5 days long and it's their biggest holiday.
And the dirka dirka reference is to Muslims who speak Arabic. Hindus are a completely different race, religion, and culture.

Sikh's also celebrate Diwali not just Hindu's. It's celebrated widely in India across many cultures. I'll be putting on all the lights in a few weeks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I don't want to start anything.
Just know that Hindus and Indians in general can eat all the meat they want. In fact I am having chicken tonight.

The cow is considered sacred. No beef.

FYI...Hindu is a religion. India is a place. NOT the same thing.
