Happy Birthday MOT!

we are discussing aspects of each of those right now.
Assembly is by far my favorite only because of how basic it is. There isn't a million little functions you have to know, just a base set of commands, the difficulty is when you need a more complex function because you don't have it and have to do it with little commands. Currently still learning VHDL but at this point I'm pretty good with it. It's very versatile and probably my second favorite language simply because of the multiple ways you can program (Behavorial, Structural, Data Flow).

Overall though programming is not one of my favorite things to do, I got into Electrical Engineering because of the hardware side but they definitely go hand in hand...

Yeah I know very little of it. Most of the high level languages are pretty similar though. At least I find Java and C++ to be pretty close.
meh

i had to take a java course (i was already extremely used to C++) and i hated it. java is nice for some things because it takes care of a lot of the annoying workarounds you have to do yourself in C++, but i felt like i didnt have any of the same control in java as i did in c++.
