I would go with the ruger .40 cal. They're very comfortable to shoot and pretty accurate. Did you look at the Glock .40 cal?

P89 is the basic entry level 9mm from ruger. My EAA .357 is a revolver, Love it.

I havent been able to shoot one. I wont buy unless I can tests it. Being a lefty is fun too...got to love the scolded right eye and cheek from several guns I have shot in the past.

Do you have a range buy you? If so, go check it out. Being in Dallas you should have access to a decent sized range with a good selection. That way you know exactly how each one feels when you shoot it. Or at least get a feel of which brands you like, everyones taste are different.

I have already. That is how I came to the choices I have made. I would like to try the glock 22 (.40)

Provided they are open tomorrow I will be there to make a decision.

thats what i love about missouri c and c is legal. im gonna buy my mom a small 22 pistol because she owns a maid service so she goes in alot of wierd dirty homes and it good for her to have.

I own a Glock 22, I recommend it since its .40 cal and accurate. Try looking into the 5-7 as well, not sure how well they fire but their armor piercing rounds will come in handy in case some perp bastard runs into your house with body armor.

i own a glock 26 and a S&W 3913...both reliable brands with different perks. go with the glock for easy to shoot capabilities.
