havent played the campaign yet, but if you are getting it for just the multiplayer, dont. its the same thing as halo3 just 2 more maps

Yes it is. It doesn't have to specifically say COD5 to be the fifth major game in the call of duty series, not one that branched off of a major title either.
Is world at war not the 5th major title in the Call of Duty series? Yes. Hence, it can be labeled cod5.

Either way, I destroy most everyone at 4 and 5 when I have a supporting team.

I know how many COD there have been and I wasn't telling you that it was COD5, just stating what MOST call it, no need for name calling. If you look at what you copied and pasted it says COD2, 3, 4. Not COD2 is actually 3 and COD3 is actually 4. They name it that, so regardless of how many came out before or after, COD2 is 2 and COD3 is 3 etc. So after COD4 the next was WAW or what MOST people/gamersites call it COD5.
