If you want the added batts youd just be bumped upto super street nw if its a trunk setup/below the windowline. And there are almost no rules for bassrace
Yeah that's another thing, I'm not really sure if it's considered a trunk setup because I drive a hatchback, lol

doesnt matter, as long as it isnt below the windowline then it isnt considered a wall..
Ok I just read through all the bass race rules, but I'm still confused on what "music" you can use...db drag said specifically you could use store bought cd's or home burned cd's...
Also this might sound dumb, but can you start the song at like 15 seconds in? Like to avoid a quiet intro?
Yea, you can start it wherever in the song and as long as its a commercially available song then nobody will care what youre using
Cool, thanks for the help. Might compete in the bass race. Doubt I'll go for db drag though, I would like to get metered at some point just to know how loud I can get, lol.
just show up early and im sure greg can help you out, come on no wall is fun
hehe, I need a shirt that says "I'm a noob, be nice to me"
Looks like you'd be in street B
I was just looking at the rules, I could also be in the Street Stock class, my amps aren't over 2000 RMS, and I have 2 12s. The only problem is, I don't have a good way to turn up my volume outside my car... I only have a remote. The reason I'm saying this is because I'm pretty sure I'll hit over 140db and I'm not allowed in my car if it goes over 140db. Also, am I able to put my back seats down?

Db drag sounds more complicated than it is, like Rob said just show up early and Greg will give you some time on the meter and also sit with you in the car and show you how to bass race.
Being nice is the whole idea, we are trying to provide a "noob" friendly enviorment for you guys to get a taste of competiting in db drag and bass race.
It seems like alot of people are a bit intimidated by the whole thing and once you get into it you will see how laid back and relaxed it is. We are all out there just having fun and hanging out with friends that have the same interests.
It is really suprising how everybody helps everybody out.
Well I plan on going to it with Old_Greg, and we both may enter. Should be a fair representation for DC(him) and Audioque(me.)

Anybody interested in competing for the first time is eligible for "freestyle" class.
Freestyle - This class is intended for "first-time" contestants only. Typically, there are no rules in this class except that once you win, you must move up into one of the standard classes.
This is an excelllent opportunity for new competitors to come out show there stuff and not have to worry about being out done by any veterans.
