It was just a matter of time (a few days lol) untill some whiz kid figured out a way to unlock the mindblowingly over-rated device from Apple. Now I wonder if any SIM chip will do the job with actually aiding with the outgoing and receiving phone calls process.

im prety sure you need a special plan for it just like the sidekick...

and i agree with dragnix, its way too overpriced for its slow internet..

no unlocking it would not make it compatible on verizons netwrok.

Cingular and Verizon work on two diffrent networks. Cingular being GSM and verizon being CDMA. If the cingular is unlocked it would be able to work on any GSM network

THe phone is Quad Band capable, if a SIM hack can authenticate service, who cares who your provider is?

yeah, you would still need a special plan, for my moto q on alltel its called the smartphone plan, and its expensive for any smartphone plan.

my q has dsl fast internet when i got 4 bars or more.
