I have a wireless keyboard and mouse and I have the USB hooked up to my laptop and the other plug hooked up to the crappy computer, and the batteries are out in the keyboard so I have to use the on screen keyboard until I get new batteries or get a different keyboard from the basement..

OK, as long as it was because you didn't have a physical keyboard...

I'm constantly replacing the batteries in wireless USB mouse/keyboard too. I use the mouse-keys accessibility feature (using the keyboard's numeric pad) when my mouse goes out.

The mouse went out first so I took a battery out of the keyboard and put it in the mouse since I dont use the keyboard often. So I think that it is time to buy some rechargable battereies soon!
